About Us |
|
We are located in Monongalia County, West Virginia. We are a non-profit beekeeping club with membership open to the public. Our members come from the area surrounding Morgantown that share a common interest in honey bees and beekeeping. Most of our member keep bees as a hobby, but some of our members are involved in beekeeping as a side business.
Monongalia County Beekeepers Association in West Virginia usually meets the first Tuesday every three months, but please note we are meeting more frequent in 2012 so please see the Event page. Typically meetings are in the evenings from 7PM to 9PM when we meet to discuss all aspects of beekeeping. Meetings are held in the Monongalia County - WVU Extension Service Office (click here for directions - Keep in mind it has moved across the parking lot from where it used to be). There is usually one or more presentations from members and guest speakers as well as lively discussions with question and answer periods.
